He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Lee Zerfass (Fritz); his parents, Luther E. E. and Agnes L. C. Zerfass (Miller); his son Dennis; and his siblings, Luther Jr., Richard, Shirley and Elizabeth Bednar.
He is survived by: his children, Charles, Brian (Megan), Barbara Bender (late Edward), Denise Burger and Diana Moyer (Mark). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Cedar Hill Memorial Park (1700 Airport Rd, Allentown, PA 18109).
