He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlos Resto and Mercedes Resto (Valentin); his daughter Sharon Fox; and his brothers, Carlos and Antonio.
He is survived by: his wife Dawnie Resto (Zellers); his children, Luis Resto (Tonya), Gilberto Resto, Jr. (Barbara), James Geiger Sr. (Darlene), Maria Resto-Acevedo and Louann Lower; and his grandson Jackson Resto. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to Wounded Warriors or Peaceable Kingdom c/o the funeral home.
