He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert W. Sell and Miriam E. Sell (Riegel); and his brother Robert G. Sell. He is survived by: his spouse Gail J. Sell (Krupp); his children, Jennifer L. Sell-Knapp of Brattleboro, VT and Jonathan D. Sell (Tiffani) of Ashburnham, MA; his grandchildren, Carly, Jovi, Sadie and Emmett; and his siblings-in-law, Sandy Sell of Hellertown and Gary Krupp (Lauri) of Allentown. He is also survived by niece and nephews.
