He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert C. Fried and Catherine Fried (Deppe); and his brother Franklin "Pat" Fried. He is survived by: his wife Nancy A. Fried (MacHose); his sons, Richard Shander (Sharon) and Scott Shander (Marcy); his grandchildren, Ethan, Brittan and Calla; and his nephews, Glenn Fried (Ann) and Mark Fried (Patricia). He is also survived by his wife, family, friends.
