With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Helen M. McCurley of Allentown, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 25, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Tyukody and Anna Tyukody (Plata); her son Thomas McCurley, Sr.; her siblings, Louis Tyukody, Jr. and Anna Lentz; and her son-in-law Larrey Alder.
She is survived by: her husband William J. McCurley, Sr.; her children, William McCurley, Jr. (Vivian) of Griffin, GA and Kathleen Alder; and her close friends, Thomas Genzale of Allentown and Patricia Ackerman (Thomas) of Allentown. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made in Helen's memory to a charity of one's choice.
