She was predeceased by: her parents, Luis Filipe Rivera and Irma Gonzalez; and her brothers, Angelo, Billy and Felipe.
She is survived by: her close friend Juan A Santiago; her sons, Joel L. Castro, Noel L. Castro (Nafi) and Luis M. Castro; and her siblings, Milagros Perez and Gilberto Rivera. She is also survived by 14 Grandchildren; and 18 Great-Grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and so many friends.
