It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James C. Capetanakis of Allentown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 20, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Constantine Capetanakis and Helen Capetanakis (Maravel); his son George Capetanakis; and his siblings, Harriet Dannevig and Thomas Capetanakis.

He is survived by: his wife Niove Capetanakis (Dimitriadis); his daughters, Elaine Venizelos (Nick) of Allentown and Dina M. Angle (Richard) of Brooklyn, NY; his daughter-in-law Aspasia Capetanakis of Brooklyn, NY; his grandchildren, Naomi (Matthew), James, Jonathan, Elefteria, Niove, Nate, Gregory and Marianna; and his brother Basil Capetanakais (Angie) of Brooklyn, NY..
