It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet M. Mitman of Allentown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 22, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Vernon "Larry" Mitman; and her parents, Theodore B. MConnell and Evelyn M. MConnell (Wahley). She is survived by: her sons, Alan B. Mitman of Catasauqua, Kenneth L. Mitman (Michele) and Jason D. Mitman (Mark A. Strausser) of Meadville; her grandchildren, Justin, Joshua and Emily Rose; her siblings, Richard Ackerman (Susan) of New Berlin, NY, LaCresha Rose (Ronnie) of Fredericktown, MO, Larry L. Layman of Palmyra and Carolyn M. McConnell; and her stepfather Manley L. Layman (Marilyn). She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
