He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy Schmidt (Leshock). He is survived by: his father Lawrence Schmidt of Reading; his wife Kristin L. Schmidt (Knoeller); his children, Alexander R. Schmidt and Kayleigh G. Schmidt; his siblings, Regina Shade (Dwayne) of Reading, Lawrence Schmidt (Mary) of Harrisburg and Julianne Rutkowski (Michael) of Reading; his parents-in-law, John and Linda Salemno of Sellersville; and his siblings-in-law, Kari Minko (Drew) of Sellersville and L. J. Salemno (Lisa) of Sellersville. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
