He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Howard and Mildred Elizabeth Johnson (Barber); his in-laws, Roger R., Gwendolyn I. Dunn, Joyce Moeggenberg (Dunn) and Jim Dunn; and his nephew Ayden Maitner.
He is survived by: his wife Julie A. Johnson (Dunn); his daughter Emily E. Johnson Cope (Anthony); his grandson Quinn A. Cope; and his siblings, Stacie Johnson Koochek (Kamran) and Erik F. Johnson (Kimberly). He is also survived by many nephews, nieces and countless heartbroken friends.
