He was predeceased by: his parents, Dominik Benedek and Ida Benedek (Mikschl). He is survived by: his wife Naomi; his daughters, Rachel M. Benedek of Belvidere, NJ and Lindsay M. Gyorfi (Chad) of Belvidere, NJ; his stepchildren, Scott T. Hartman (Heidi) of Allentown and Kathy L. Mycio (Daniel) of Walnutport; his siblings, Juliana Bernaski (John) of Oxford, NJ, Thomas Benedek (Lynn) of Weissport, Rosemarie Milkowski (Gary) of Glen Gardner, NJ, Denes Benedek (Robin) of South Carolina, Kathraina Brooks of Hume, MO and Melinda Robertson of Washington, NJ; and his grandchildren, Bradley Gyorfi, Riley Gyorfi, Daniel Mycio Jr., Corey Woomer, Kyle Woomer, Shaelynn Hartman and Kylie Hartman. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
