He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Kegley and Doris Kegley (Peterson); his son Jonathan (late Lori Selgrath); and his brother William Kegley. He is survived by: his wife Laurel A. Kegley (Keeler); his daughters, Karen (Ben Tizer) and Diana (David Kelly); his grandchildren, Juliet, Gemma, Eva Tizer, Jayden, Hope, Bella, Nola Kelly, Ayden, Ella and Alayna Kegley; and his sister Carol (Frank Dox). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
