He was predeceased by: his parents, John P. Schantz, Sr. and Louise Schantz (Lentz); his sisters, Linda Smith and Christine Oswald; his grandchildren, Patricia Young (Dane), JP Garret (Courtney), Cyara and Robert, Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Bodhi, Emilia, Kaylani, Henry and Grayson.
He is survived by: his spouse Sandy Schantz (McKeone); his sons, John P. Schantz III (Rita), Todd Schantz and Robert Schantz (Stephanie Hinkle); and his sister Kathy Martin of Allentown.
