With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Philip Schantz Jr. (Allentown, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 27, 2025 at the age of 87. He was predeceased by: his parents, John P. Schantz, Sr. and Louise Schantz (Lentz); his sisters, Linda Smith and Christine Oswald; his grandchildren, Patricia Young (Dane), JP Garret (Courtney), Cyara and Robert, Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Bodhi, Emilia, Kaylani, Henry and Grayson.
He is survived by: his spouse Sandy Schantz (McKeone); his sons, John P. Schantz III (Rita), Todd Schantz and Robert Schantz (Stephanie Hinkle); and his sister Kathy Martin of Allentown.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Horizon Church (2613 South St, Allentown, PA 18104).
