He was predeceased by: his wife Judith Taves (Schaeffer); his parents, Henry Taves and Hilda Taves (Stettler); and his sister Marian Huber. He is survived by: his pet Squeek; his children, Melissa Boemio, Kimmberly Chibi (Kaddor), Leonard H. Taves, Jr., Anndrea Morris (Jerry), Brendan Taves (Ellie) and Jennifer Taves; and his sisters, Renee Fenstermaker, Eleanor Kern and Carol Timmons. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and many nieces.
