He was predeceased by: his parents, Demetrios Lahanas and Evangelia Lahanas; and his sisters, Maritsa Soumas and Elenenitsa Gligli. He is survived by: his spouse Maritsa; his children, James (Kay), Michael (Sue) and Edyth; and his grandchildren, Maritsa (Tavis), Niko (Krissy), Veronica (AJ) and Demitri (Lexi). He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral (1607 W Union Blvd, Bethlehem, PA 18018). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 11:30 AM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Cathedral for the Senior Citizens Club, because he enjoyed their monthly gatherings.
