He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Derby and Paula Derby (Salaman). He is survived by: his wife Ruth Derby (Zeiler); his children, Deborah Derby (Barry Rabinowitz), Danae Derby and Greg Derby (Julie); his brother Albert Derby; and his grandchildren, Zoe, Jake, Matan, Adam, Ariel and Ashira.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Jewish Federation of the Lehigh Valley, 702 N. 22nd Street, Allentown, PA 18104.
