He was predeceased by: his spouse Jean B. Dougherty; and his parents, Thomas Dougherty and Emma Dougherty (Morgan). He is survived by: his sons, David Dougherty (Sharon) of Allentown, William Dougherty (Colleen) of Strasburg, PA and Scott Dougherty (Lisa) of Bethlehem; his grandchildren, Robert (Alexandria), Liam, Ivana, Greg (Lindsay) and Patrick; and his great grandchild Sophie.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Allentown (3231 Tilghman St, Allentown, PA 18104). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Shriners Children's Hospital, 2900 Rocky Point Dr. Tampa, FL 33607.
