He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Kurtz and Bertha Kurtz (Plessl); and his brother Wayne Kurtz Sr.. He is survived by: his sister-in-law Linda Kurtz; and his sibling's children, Wayne Kurtz Jr. (Tammy), Brian Kurtz (Julie), Gabriel, Devin and Morgan Kurtz.
