He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Jean Rotz (Desh); his parents, Henry Rotz and Miriam D. Rotz (Christman); and his daughter-in-law Rebecca Rotz. He is survived by: his children, Sherry Skoutelas of Freemansburg, Robert J. Rotz, Jr. of Effort, William J. Rotz and Joy Wharen of Jim Thorpe; and his stepchildren, Daniel Beisel (Jennifer) of Macungie, Sherri (Gerald Reinbold, Jr.) of Emmaus and Julie Anne Sands (Charlie Stinger). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.
