He was predeceased by: his parents, Everyman and Caroline; his wife Helen Elaine Strauss (Ramsey); his granddaughter Gabriella Strauss; and his brother Frank W. Strauss.
He is survived by: his children, Dr. Robert A. Strauss (Mary Jannelli) of Chapel Hill, NC, Attorney Eric R. Strauss (Claudia Bayona) of Barto, Dr. Kevin A. Strauss (Zineb Ammous) of Chicago and Megan E. Hallman (David A.) of Coopersburg; and his sister Ruth L. Moyer of Lansdale. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
