He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Haffner and Caroline Haffner (Flamish); his sons, Jeffrey and William; and his sister Idella Beischl.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia M. Haffner (Kodlick); his sons, Robert S. Haffner of Red Hill, PA and David M. Haffner of Allentown; his brother Melvin J. Haffner (Rose Marie) of Whitehall; his grandchildren, Alex and Liesel; and his daughters-in-law, Barbara Haffner-Panik of Slatington and Heidi Haffner of Bartlett, IL..
