He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Markowitz and Stella Meszko Markowitz; and his sister Donna. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Zimpfer Markowitz; his daughter Shana (Chris Nace); his niece Samantha; his nephew Rob (Karin); his brother-in-law Bob; and his mother-in-law Orchid Zimpfer. He is also survived by extended family, including sister- and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
