He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elsie Markowitz and Serfass; his sons, Scott and Steven; his close friend Christine Steinmetz; his former spouse Lauren; his granddaughter Katelyn Smoyer; his siblings, Dale Markowitz, John and Vivian Getz; and also, Jorden, Erin, Keisha Steinmetz, Terry Markowitz, Kristi Smoyer, Scott, Steven, Kaylee Markowitz and David Markowitz. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, may be made to the funeral home to defray costs of funeral expenses – 46 E. Susquehanna Street, Allentown, PA 18103.
