He was predeceased by: his wife Helen I. Hall (Sucz); and his father Heinz. He is survived by: his daughter Kristin M. (Jeremy L. Vasquez); his grandson Devon R. Dinder of Whitehall; his daughter Patricia Nickels of Blackwood; and his grandson Michael Watkins of Blackwood.
