He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dex and Theresa Dex (Muhr); and his brother Frank Dex. He is survived by: his wife Ruth R. Dex (Rojahn); his children, Laura Dex Wallace (Michael J. Wallace, Jr.), Walter John Dex, Jr. (Yenii) and Daniel D. Dex (Geoff Hall); and his grandchildren, Michael, Sarah Wallace, Sophia and Lauren Dex.
