He was predeceased by: his wife Marie Spillane (Kadas); his parents, George J. Sr. Spillane and Ellen Spillane (Gibbons); and his brother-in-law Frank Steckel. He is survived by: his sons, William G. Spillane (Debra) of Lake Forest, IL and James A. Spillane of Allentown, PA.; his grandchildren, Patrick K. Spillane and Megan E. Spillane; and his siblings, George Spillane Jr. (Phyllis), Mary Ellen Steckel, Carol O'Donnell (Barry) and Bette Storck (Don).
