She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Burgin and Ora Burgin (Brock); her husband Ethan Freeman; her sister Virginia Hurst; and her daughter-in-law Tshering Freeman.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Freeman (Sofia), Robert Freeman (Sarah), Patrick Freeman (Gillian) and Janet Elias (Sean Kelly); her brother-in-law Jerry Freeman (Judy); and her grandchildren, William, Christine, Janine, Pamela, Josephine, Ivy, Shane, Brianna and Tyler. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.
