He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Clark of Penn Hills and Emilina "Emily" Clark of Point Breeze; and his half-siblings, Raymond "Buster" Clark, Jr. and Theresa "Sissy" Morykan. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Jane "Sally" Clark; his children, Kevin Clark (Sharon) and Kristin Petyak (Scott); his grandchildren, Collin and Elaina Petyak; and his stepgranddaughters, Carly and Rita Frank.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Anne Church (400 Hoodridge Dr, Pittsburgh, PA 15234). A burial will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery (2900 Washington Rd, Canonsburg, PA 15317).

Upon retirement, David kept himself busy by generously donating his time to numerous organizations.
