He was predeceased by: his wife Dolores Hogan Hood; and his siblings, Howard Hood (Mary Lou), Edith Cary (Ed) and Ruth Erdlen. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Knapp (Ron) of Gibsonia, Gary Hood (Sharon) of Spring Branch, David Hood (Christina) of Franklin Park and Scott Hood (Karen) of Wexford; his grandchildren, Tyler Lee Hood, Robert Talarico, Stephen Hood (Josiah), Christina Jockel (Garrett), Zachary Hood, Katy Weinrich (Trevor), Natalie Hood (Jared), Kathryn Lawson (Cameron), Riley Hood, Joseph Knapp (Sierra), Jessica Hood, Makenzie Rogge (Dylan), Victoria Hood and Matthew Hood; his children, Joey, Price, Trey Jockel, Hattie, Wyatt Lawson, Jackson Vescio and Tyler Raelynn Rogge; and also Bill Erdlen.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Memorial Park Church (8800 Peebles Rd, Allison Park, PA 15101).
