He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley M. Balcer, and Bernardine C. Balcer, Jr. (Koncewicz); his father-in-law Howard Sylvis; and his brother-in-law Greg Sylvis. He is survived by: his spouse Aliza Balcer (Sylvis); his child Taylor Jessica Balcer; his siblings, Cynthia A. Jablonski (late John) and Brian M. Balcer (Aleta M.); his parent-in-law Michele; his brother-in-law Don Sylvis; his nieces and nephews, Jennifer Jablonski, Jordan Grybel, Nick, Chris and Regan Sylvis; and his great-nephew Mason Cleaver. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and numerous cousins and friends.
