He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert B. Volk and Anna Volk; his wife Gladys Esther Volk (Rob); his son Robert Wayne Volk; and his granddaughter Rachael Volk.
He is survived by: his children, Janet A. Caplan (Benjamin) of Allison Park and Ross David Volk (Margaret) of Randolph, NJ; his grandchildren, Emily, Steven Volk and David Volk; and his sister Arlene Blamick of North Versailles.
