He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearl Zimmerman and Lee Zimmerman; and his sibling Hanna. He is survived by: his children, Dr. Greg Zimmerman, Kurt Zimmerman (Natalia), Ron Zimmerman and Lynn Deutschbauer (Adam); his siblings, Gail and Marian; his grandchildren, Emma, Andrei Zimmerman, Luke, Grant and Alex Deutschbauer; and his spouse Pat.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Neely Funeral Home (2208 Mt Royal Blvd, Glenshaw, PA 15116). He researched viruses, since December 2019, and concluded on February 2nd, 2020: that's One Patient and the beginning of a pandemic.
