With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Al Schips of Allison, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Al leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Al may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Abraham Schips and Lena Schips (Steinbacher); his son Adam Schips; and his granddaughter Erica Schips. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy R. Schips (Strauss); his daughter Diane Schips; his granddaughters, April Lathem and Leora Bayiates (Steve); and his great grandchildren, Zoe Fields and Maddie Schips.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bolock Funeral Home & Crematory (6148 Paradise Valley Rd, Cresco, PA 18326). The military honors will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Bolock Funeral Home (6148 Paradise Valley Rd, Cresco, PA 18326).
