It is with sadness that the passing of Clair McGregor of Altoona, Pennsylvania is shared. Clair, born on May 10, 1934, passed away on September 24, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John George and Sarah Jane McGregor (Brantner); his spouse Shirley L. Fogal; and his grandson Ryan Carruthers. He is survived by: his daughters, Tonda Carruthers (John), Tina McGregor and Tami Buchanan (Jim); his grandchildren, Jason Carruthers (Kristie), Brett Carruthers, Trey Carruthers, Alissa Buchanan Myers and Christopher Buchanan (Justine); and his siblings, Ruby Bussard, Martha Bookhamer, James McGregor (Cindy), Agnes Hammel and Della Leonard (Rich) of Williamsburg. He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Myers-Somers Funeral Home, Inc. (501 N 6th Ave, Altoona, PA 16602). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
