Darrel Bathurst Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darrel Bathurst of Altoona, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 19, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Bathurst and Adeline Bathurst; his wife Linda R. Bathurst; his brothers, Phil, Greg, Jim and Kenneth Bathurst; and his friend Louis J. Maierhofer.

He is survived by: his children, Leslie Burkey (Jim), Timothy (Lori) and Crystal Himes (Dan); and his friends, Dan, Noreen Greenleaf, Robert and Joanna Fultz. He is also survived by six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations, in memory of Darrel, please be made to Jaffa Shrine Center, 220 Broad Avenue, Altoona, PA 16601.
