It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Denton D. Gibson of Altoona, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 13, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Milton Gibson and Alice Gibson (Rouzer); and his siblings, Clay, Willis, Vernon and Margaret.

He is survived by : his wife Miriam Johnson; his sons, Denton II, Bradley and Douglas; his grandchildren, Brandon, Ryan, Rachel, Amanda, Kara, Adam, Kaitlynne, Kristen and DJ; and his great grandchildren, Hunter, Payton, Noah, Quinn, Ansley, Arianna, Sadie, Owen, Sophie, Maddox, Brooks and Brody.

In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to Mardorf United Methodist Church or Wounded Warriors Project.
