We are sad to announce that on June 17, 2024, at the age of 90, Ernest C. Cherry of Altoona, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Cherry and Celia Cherry (Nearhoof); his former wife Phyllis Cherry; his wife Bernita Cherry; his children, Cynthia Solberg and Gary D. Cherry; and his siblings, Helen Cherry, Mary Cherry, Alvin Cherry, Melvin Cherry, Raymond Cherry, David Cherry and Kenneth Cherry.

He is survived by: his children, Lavonne Cherry, Donald Cherry, Dennis Cherry, Mark Cherry, Steven Cherry and Jason Cherry. He is also survived by six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
