Forney (Harbula); her husband Charles Burley III; her brother Paul (Debbie); her children, Brian, Jarret (Kim) of Altoona and Kimberly Zeigler (Greg) of Altoona; her Boxer Lola; her grandchildren, Reagan, Olivia, Shawn, Megan, Kaitlin, Zachary, Alyssa and Brayden; and her great grandchildren, Nolan, Myla, Charlotte and Carson.

Viewing was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Myers-Somers Funeral Home, Inc. (501 N 6th Ave, Altoona, PA 16602). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.

“I'm sorry I can't be with you physically today, but I wanted to offer this piece of advice. Even though Janet's body is finally at peace. Don't be afraid to still talk to her as if she were still alive. You will have subtle signs and huge signs that she hears you. The night that my father died (Gary Singer), I was looking at flowers to send to the funeral home. The only picture he hung fell off the wall and shattered. It had been on the wall for over 10 years. Love always. Joelle Singer”
