She was predeceased by: her parents, John W. Karcz and Cecelia Karcz (DeCoskey). She is survived by: her husband Carl F. "Moonie" Maier; her children, Carl F. Maier, Jr. (Karan) of Texas, John J. Maier of Florida, Christopher A. Maier of Altoona, Corinne A. Baker (John) of Altoona and Joanie M. Hoover (Terry) of Shermans Dale; her grandchildren, Joseph, Kevin, Jeremy, Carla, Jeff, Tiffany, Sarah, Michael, Christine, Adam, Alexa and Alaina; and her sisters, Barbara Ann Lauer of Altoona and Cecelia Bradshaw of Columbia, SC.. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
