She was predeceased by: her parents, John W. Karcz and Cecelia Karcz (DeCoskey). She is survived by: her husband Carl F. "Moonie" Maier; her children, Carl F. Maier, Jr. (Karan) of Texas, John J. Maier of Florida, Christopher A. Maier of Altoona, Corinne A. Baker (John) of Altoona and Joanie M. Hoover (Terry) of Shermans Dale; her grandchildren, Joseph, Kevin, Jeremy, Carla, Jeff, Tiffany, Sarah, Michael, Christine, Adam, Alexa and Alaina; and her sisters, Barbara Ann Lauer of Altoona and Cecelia Bradshaw of Columbia, SC.. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Stevens Mortuary, Inc. (1421 8th Ave, Altoona, PA 16602). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (1405 5th Ave, Altoona, PA 16602).
