He was predeceased by: his mother Minnie Suenkonis (Bonanno). He is survived by: his wife Carmie; his daughters, Tonia Rose (Shawn) of Pittsburgh, PA and Kara Dee Burke (Johnny) of Annapolis, MD; and his grandson John Anthony Burke.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Santella Funeral Home (1106 8th Ave, Altoona, PA 16602). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mount Carmel Catholic Church (Calvary Cemetery) (806 11th St, Altoona, PA 16602).
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorial contributions in Pete's name be directed to The Greater Pennsylvania Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association https://www.alz.org.
