He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. McClain and Ruth L. McClain (Nicodemus); and his brother David H. McClain. He is survived by: his children, Timothy N. (Cathy) of Wilmington, N. C. and Tara H. Young (Matt) of Wetumpka, Ala.; his grandchildren, Brandon McClain, Megan Peterson (Daniel), Angel Padilla, Isabella Padilla, Emma McClain and Max Young; his great grandchild Liam Peterson; his sibling's children, David E. McClain (Pam) and Robin Morris; and his friend Joe Reed.
