Richard Roccio Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Roccio of Altoona, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 24, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Roccio and Mary Grace Roccio (Pretola); his wife Barbara Fink; his daughter Lisa Shank; and his siblings, Robert Roccio and Elizabeth Torso.
He is survived by: his son-in-law Michael J. Shank (Harriet); his grandsons, Richard Shank (Naid) of Baltimore, MD, Daniel Shank (Katlyn) of Harpers Ferry, WV and Robert Shank (Sarah) of Frederick, MD; his great grandchildren, Lillian and Noah; and his siblings, Joanne Claar of Altoona and James Roccio (Mary Agnes) of Johnstown. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Santella Funeral Home (1106 8th Ave, Altoona, PA 16602). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at 5514 Roselawn Ave, Altoona, PA 16602.
