It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Allen Simanski of Altoona, Pennsylvania, born in Ashville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 8, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Simanski and Agnes Simanski (Palovsky); his wife Rose Marie Milliron; and his siblings, James, William, Dorothy McConnell, Evelyn Passinita and Catherine Roberts.

He is survived by: his children, John F. (Ester) of Fort Worth, Texas, Maryann Krish (Stanley) of Altoona and Lisa Karl (John) of Stormstown; his grandchildren, John R. Simanski, Christal Ann Simanski, Joseph D. Simanski, Josh Krish, Katie Krish, Nicholas Karl and Amanda Karl (Brandon Balotti); his brother Edward Simanski (Lois) of Hollidaysburg; and his sister-in-law Vera Simanski of Cresson.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations made to Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery Endowment Fund c/o Our Lady of Fatima Parish, 2010 12th Ave., Altoona, PA 16601; or Garvey Manor Activities Fund, 1037 S. Logan Blvd., Hollidaysburg, PA 16648.
