It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth M. (Smith) Leonard (Altoona, Pennsylvania), born in Clearville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 17, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter Smith and Mary Smith (May); her husband Harry F. Leonard, Sr.; her son Gary Lee Leonard; and her sisters, Louise Williams, Betty Noble, Velma Grimes and Wilma Cornell.

She is survived by : her children, Mary Alice Bitner of Marietta, PA and Harry F. Leonard, Jr. of Everett, PA; her grandchild Allison Auchter (Scott); and her children, Vanessa Leonard, Terry Bitner and Garrison Leonard.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Everett Church of the Brethren (119 E 2nd St, Everett, PA 15537).
