She was predeceased by: her father Robert; and her husband Charles W. "Wayne" Hippo. She is survived by: her son Wayne Hippo (Linda) of Wilmington, NC; her grandchildren, Stephanie Hippo (Jonathan Onorato) and Lauren Seymour-Driscoll (Derek); her son Rob Hippo of Altoona; her grandchildren, Alycia Campbell (Andy) and Alyson Miller (Jessie); Kriss, Rowan, Robin, Chase, Caden and Weston.

The family requests that contributions be made in Shirley's memory to: Central PA Humane Society, 1837 E. Pleasant Valley Blvd., Altoona, PA 16602.
