He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon L., Sr. and Dorthea E. "Dot" Diggins (Wiseman); his son David Stuart Diggins; and his sister Patricia. He is survived by: his wife Lois E. Urbanek; his son Vernon L. "Butchie" Diggins, III (Stephanie); his granddaughter Danielle Brown (Kyle); his great grandchild Kinley; and his sister Mary Ada. He is also survived by his family, especially his granddaughter and great granddaughter.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Myers-Somers Funeral Home, Inc. (501 N 6th Ave, Altoona, PA 16602). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
