He was predeceased by: his parents, George Newton and G. Louise Emerick (Smeltzer). He is survived by: his sons, William DeGeorge Emerick, Jr. (Christine) of Elyria and Ryan Lee Emerick (Tabitha Platt) of Middletown, DE; his siblings, Ronald Smeltzer, Patricia Heverly, Judith Kelley, Barbara Bartley and Linda Andrews; and his grandchildren, Brittnee Perry, Ashleigh Shaffer, Chance Emerick, Calvin Emerick and Hazel Emerick.
