He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Rufe and Joyce Sweeny; and his brother Gregory Rufe. He is survived by: his wife Linda Benischeck Rufe; his sons, Brian Rufe (Lisa Rufe) and Stephen Rufe (Candice Rufe); and his grandchildren, Abigail, Vanessa and Jonathan Rufe.
