He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Smith and Betty Smith (Hadrick); his wife Carolyn Mae Smith (Stanton); and his son Michael. He is survived by: his sister Joanne Dearman; his niece Nancy Pegram; and his friends, Robin Gray Twaddle and Dawn.
