He was predeceased by: his brother-in-law Huu Giang; his parents, Van Nhâm and Thi Loi; and his sister Thi Loc. He is survived by: his wife Vicky (Xuan-Vinh); his daughters, Kim-Linh and Mai-Linh; his stepchildren, Levon, Crystal and Jordan; his brother Ngoc Trung; his sister-in-law Thi Kieu-Loan; his sister Thi Ninh; and his brother-in-law Ba An.
